They got hacked

At the end of August 2025, they got hacked by a group named Luna. And now need to pay ransom. I got an E-Mail from their Mailsystem with a message by the ransom ware group. Indicating that artistsandclients is not removing once banned accounts and not anonymizing them.

If you are an artist:

Don't panic, update your social media about your current open commissions.

Make sure clients can direct message you or can send you an E-Mail. If you used trello or something similar, put updates there too.

If you are a client / customer:

Reach out to the artist, you should have an artistname in your E-Mails when you paid the commission. Message them, don't blame the artist

for what happened, this is out of their control.

Update on they getting hacked - October '25'

The ransomware group or people who bought the userdata now send E-Mails to users that were registered on the site. DO NOT REGISTER on their "new" site, you'll hand your cleartext password straight into the hands of scammers. You don't know who runs any new site claiming to be artistsnclients.

Actually I don't know either why they have banned me, and I don't expect an explaination. My first thought was: Hm maybe I shat on them in my other blog post, and they found that one. But that is not the case, I even wrote something positive because they allow NSFW Art commissions.

I wasn't even active on the site, I the last thing I did was updating my prices. Did I got an E-Mail? No, of course not. I used a seperate Address only for the site, to for reasons. If you are still using artistsnclients, I strongly recommend you to always pull your money from them. I am in luck since I had no commission money there on my account.
